Crumpsall metrolink station is less than 5 mins walk away from one of the last remaining Pubs in Cheetaham hill.

Every third Sunday of the month between 4 and 10 they have a Northern Soul bash, called the 'Beat Club' it gets really rammed for a Sunday afternoon, with a good atmosphere and proper Northern Soul tunes, with all the scooters parked outside. I was just drinking bottled beers last time i was in there. Would recommend it ,if your visting Manchester.

Located in crab village, been in a few times over the years, it's a bit clique, but worth a visit.

The Hare and Hounds, Manchester
I go in this Pub occasionally when I use the Bus station on Shudehill. Always seems to be busy with the older generation of old genuine Mancunians. It's friendly and the Holt's beer is usually well kept. If your in Manchester, definitely worth a visit.

A traditional Holt's Pub, just set off Victoria Avenue, Near the jet petrol station. It's mainly locals but not to unfriendly. I stop off occasionally for a pint of Holt's bitter. Pretty good pint.

Not been in, but this Pub/restraunt has definitly reopened.
