Rock / blues Jam night on Wed, cheap cocktails and specials early on Fridays nights. Has the occosional band on monday nights.

Rock night on a Tuesday now as well as the Jam night on Thursdays and live bands on Fridays. good friendly atmos.

Well established wed night rock night for over 15 years, closed its doors just over a year ago after a period of bad mangement. True, the beer was nothing special but the place had a long history and a well established community - it has been missed. Due to re-open this week but as yet doubtful if the rock nights will continue - watch this space to see what the new landlord is like LOL

The Nelson Hotel, St Helens
Rock night on the 3rd Friday of the month now well established and a good night out. Rest of the time, nothing special.
