The Orange Brewery, Belgravia

A shame as this pub used to be an inner London gem, where beers were brewed on the premises and the place felt loved. It just shows that a manager makes a pub. Lets hope the new one can bring the pub back to the way it used to be in 2003!

Crown Inn, Playhatch

A little overpriced but good bar menu that changes each time we visit. Traditional old english food offered as well as some nouveau dishes so you can satisfy whichever hunger pangs need addressing!
Excellent wine list.

White Horse, Emmer Green

Visited but didnt spend much time there as the bar was too smokey and loud. Couldnt hold a decent conversation and had to shout to be heard.
Nothing special about bar menu, so we didnt eat there.

The Pack Horse, Mapledurham

Recently visited this pub and was charmed by the cosy atmosphere, the friendliness of the pub owner (who made us feel very welcome) and his wife who spent time talking us through their home cooked menu.
We chose a variety of different dishes and without exception they were very tasty and beautifully presented. This is one of the nicest pubs I have eaten in for a long time. They had a large choice of good value wines to compliment the food and I would definately recommend a visit.

The Prince Of Wales, Iffley

A small welcoming pub in a pretty village with a good value, enticing bar menu and friendly bar staff.
Some quality real ales - a much needed resting post when touring the Oxfordhsire countryside.
In the winter there are coal fires and mulled wine to warm up those cold fingers and toes.

The Isis Tavern, Iffley Lock

A beautiful pub in a peaceful and scenic location.
In summer there's lots of outside space to relax and enjoy the lazy river atmosphere with an excellent play area for the kids! In the winter there are real coal fires and a very warm welcome.
The Isis has a good range of decent wines on offer and my boyfriend advises that the real ales are pretty special too.
The food is good pub grub, and there is also a childrens menu. Overall one of my favourite places to visit and pass away a few enjoyable hours!
