Really nice pub since it was refitted a couple of years ago. Excellent home cooked food. No guest ales unfortunately so it Robinson's or bust.
Quiz on a Wednesday which attracts a pubful. Live music on a Saturday.

Cracking little pub. Good range of guest beers and a decent pint of Carling or Wife beater for the lager drinkers out there. Excellent home cooked food and the staff are friendly.
Karaoke on a Saturday night if that's your poison. It's not mine, but I'll go in any other time.

Less of the jibes about the civil servants!
Used to be a cracking pub when Nigel was there. Now understaffed with terrible beer and atmosphere. Try the Red Bull or Jack Horner instead.

The Crown Inn, Stockport
Excellent range of well kept beers at reasonable prices. Friendly staff and locals.
Quiz on a Thursday (hard!).
Good live music with a purpose built stage in the beer garden (under the viaduct).
