Great Central, Fallowfield

It's fine until 9, then, well, see Quinn's review!

Robinskis, Fallowfield

Cramped, slow service, bland downstairs. Cramped, slow service, hot and sweaty, dingy upstairs... Still, get drunk enough and it's great! One of those places not to venture into sober!

The Queen of Hearts, Fallowfield

It used to be great, a real old feel to the place, proper pues and wooden tables etc. Then it got taken over by the Scream people!
Now you have the same aluminium bar crap as ever other place, but in a church.
Still, the Queen of Tarts always provides a great night out, I've never heard anyone complain in person about it!

The Orange Grove, Fallowfield

Overall pretty good, Student only. Takes ages to get served whenever there's football on, and don't even think about trying to get a beer in there in Freshers week!

Norwegian Blue, Manchester

Great Place, good atmosphere. Could do with a few more bar staff and a few more young ladies! Good drinks and shooters (Esp. the After 8). Pain in the arse walking up all thopse stairs everytime you need a piss though!

The Paramount, Manchester

All depends what you;re after, Cheap drinks, not such a bad environment, but Whenever I'm there it is full of alcholics, and not the nice type either...

O'Sheas, Manchester

Great pub, the live Irish music is always a plus. But do avoid St. Pats day and the Medics pub crawls.

Jabez Clegg, Manchester

Not been in the evening for a couple of years, but go in the daytime a fair bit. Far quieter than it's location suggests it should be in the daytime. The food is damn good, and pretty reasonable. (shows up the more popular Kro bar in both respects). The staff are always helpful.

Hardy's Well, Rusholme

Used to be a good, cheap pub, with few students. CAme back to uni this year, and it's change hands. Prices have shot up to town centre prices, and it's now filled with slack jawed yokels. We'll see if the summer brings the same number of people back to the garden!
