Morts Wine Bar, Walton on Thames

The Timothy Taylor Landlord here is £3 a pint and drawn direct from the keg. Quality wines and spirits too. Live music all weekend. All the football and other sports. Despite the one modest room being better suited to an estate agent's shop, this place does actually work!

The Jolly Farmer, Blacknest

Had lunch at this pub on several Saturdays during the summer. Great burger and chips in nice garden. Went back in mid-week recently (November) for dinner with mates, and again the food was excellent. Pie and mash, pork belly, fish and chips. Not cheap but good value. Friendly staff and good beer. Will def go back

The Green Dragon, Liphook

Nicely refurbished. Friendly staff. Good beer. Food average but good prices. Sky Sports on several screens. Pool table. Cracking barmaid.
Pub heaven; keep it up, landlord

The Holly Bush, Headley

Sadly since Mark and Sheila left (about a year ago?) the pub has gone from a great local asset to an embarrassment. No more well kept ales and well made food.
Last went in to see a mid-week football game only to be told "Sky ain't working" so now no reason to go there ever again. Real shame

The George Inn, Walton on Thames

Proper local boozer with friendly landlord, landlady and staff. Good beer and lager. Food is good, like your Mum cooked it, and the Wednesday Roast is the best value anywhere. Quite small and full of regulars, but don't be put off - just squeeze in. Although very Chelsea-biased, great spot for a TV footy game, never a sign of trouble.

Sullivans, Weybridge

An Institution. Surprised its not listed with you. Gets packed out on Fri/Sat. Great Sunday lunch. Food generally high standard. The classic Sully's bird is 40 to 50 years old, divorced, bottle blond, etc. Somehow its a great boozer though!
