This is the kind of pub you enter and expect to hear someone say "You're not from around these parts are you?" Full of loyal regulars. Not unpleasant at all but slightly strange nevertheless.

I have no idea about the drink but the food is FAB! Been here a couple of times for work dos and keep meaning to pop back with family or friends as the food alone is worth coming back for.

Great for kids but always disappointed to contend with grubby tables (in the childrens' area). Food is only ok, some of the lighter bites are quite nice but I wouldn't rush past a great home-cooked Sunday Roast kind of pub to get to this one.

The Greek platter was GORGEOUS. Lovely gardens. Sunday menu a bit 'grown up' for small children and NO, we didn't want chicken nuggets! Looking forward to our next visit. Highly recommended.
