The Victoria, Tottenham

My family and friends use this pub when we go to watch the Spurs game best one in Scotland Green drug and trouble free pub run by an old style guvnor and his elegant wife he keeps a clean pub never any trouble because he is fussy who he allows in good pint great banter with the bar staff lovely ladies who really look after you no matter how busy it is they ring customers cabs, charge mobile phones, look after our bags if we don't want to carry them to the game, the do jaeger bombs and other cocktails and if you bring your kids in they are most welcome and the staff feed them Kimberley biscuits really welcoming old style boozer and is known to have live bands at the weekend great function room out the back only downside is that the beer garden is small and looks like a prison exercise yard!

Molly's Bar, New Southgate

This pub is handy to get to as it is near Arnos Grove Tube Station the beer is good they have loads of TVs for sports coverage but it can get a bit noisy as racing on one and football on the other very clean pub most of the customers are very friendly but there are a few idiots who sit up at the bar and when you go in on a weekend to dance and enjoy yourself you need to avoid the all day drinkers swaying on the bar stools lovely blonde London irish landlady who works hard and runsa great pub keeps it very clean, you can always get served quickly and there is always entertainment at the weekend I recently visited and thought I could take my Mum here for a night out - dark haired dancing barmaid was not here when I last visited during the day on a Saturday afternoon there was a new lovely irish barmaid very friendly who made me and my friend very welcome. Well worth a visit.

The Prince Arthur, Tottenham Hale

Mannions is a friendly no nonsense proper Irish pub - no O'Neills or Wishing Well chain pub thankfully! Rose and Martin the couple who run it are lovely as is Maisie the barmaid who has been here for years and lovely Patsty does a mean roast dinner. Great place to watch sports especially GAA Football and Hurling - the only time the bell is rung in this pub is when somebody scores goal or a point. Nice regulars especially Jim in the corner. Have held a few functions here and they have always been great with lovely buffet and good live music. The man himself Denis Mannion is missed from this pub would be great if he came back. Good pub for Spurs match days if you want to avoid the crowds in pubs nearer the ground. Well worth a visit.

The Bell and Hare, Tottenham

Not a bad pub not been in here since Spurs won the Carling cup and obvious there was a great atmosphere that day. In quieter times it is a pleasant place for a drink. Years ago there was a green light at the front covering the whole wall and as a kid I used to run under this light and say look I have gone all green! (I assure you I was not drinking then!!!). Okay for a quick pint.

British Queen, Tottenham

This pub is under new management and the Licencees attend local residents meetings so looks like they are here to stay and care about the locals. Newly decorated. Give this pub a chance - I have been in worse. The last guvnor although a nice chap had awful clientele who played too loud music and they parked their cars all over the pavement outside so it was more like a car lot than a pub. Residents complained to the Council and he was forced to leave. Years ago this was a good Irish Boozer but well worth a visit.

The Elbow Room, Tottenham

This is a great pub with cheap booze - good atmosphere and banter with Tottenham locals - would not stay in here all day or night but ideal for a few swift pints. Well worth a visit.

The Ship, Tottenham

This is my favourite pub in Tottenham. I love the fact that it has not been modernised. The regulars are so friendly and this pub is very multi-cultural - anyone would feel at home here. I miss Jack who used to run this pub - that Eddie who is in there now is moody. Lovely barman called John - all the staff are nice. Great on a Friday night when they have live music. Well worth a visit.

The Two Brewers, Tottenham

This is a great pub with good draft and although the decor has changed you still get the same good service and atmosphere in this pub. Cliff is a great manager with a good sense of humour and lovely Aiden is a top bar man - they remind me a bit of Basil and Manuel! Regulars are really friendly and there are some real characters in here especially Christy. Definitely worth a visit.

The Victoria, Tottenham

This is a lovely friendly pub with live music at the weekend. There is also a function room out the back which can be hired. The Fraines run a good clean house. Only down side is that Parick no longer works here - they should have got rid of one of the grumpy nosey time bar maids instead - well worth a visit.

Rosies, Edmonton

THIS PUB IS CLOSED AND IS NOW A TURKISH KEBAB RESTAURANT - IT WORKS MUCH BETTER AS A FOOD ESTABLISHMENT AS IT USED TO BE FULL OF CHAVS AND COKE HEADS

O'Reilly's, Kentish Town

This pub is one of the best in the area and has really improved since Austin took over managing it. The guinness is excellent as are the draft lagers. Sky Sports available with excellent large screen and a TV to cater for customers, when I visited on Saturday they had football on the big screen and racing on the other TV so everyone was happy! Austin provides and makes home cooked food, e.g. irish stew and fresh rolls and also provides a Xmas party for his customers with buffet and live music every year. Well worth a visit.
