Recently had Dark Star beers and TripleFFF beers all of which have been superb

4 handpumps now with Youngs Ordinaire making frequent appearances, in excellent nick.
Note to Chris the landlord - PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE make this beer a permenant fixture!!

Margaret's great - just buy her a drink!
Seriously good boozer - if you like Fullers beer, nowhere better. This type of trad pub won't be around for much longer - great mix of friendly locals and characters. Love it.

The Lands:
Rumour has it the Landlord/Lady are off tomorrow (Friday), and the pub will be taken over. Always been OK with me; Beer is of variable quality - sometimes the Young's Spesh is out of this world, other times not fit to drink. Food is good, and not overpriced for the area.
Its a quiet pub most of the time, but not everyones cup of tea.

Leave the Lands alone!
Its a great local, and miles better than before.
If you like well-kept ale, and a reasonable unpretentious atmosphere its great.
Children allowed - all though for pete's sake those parents with feral children who let them run wild (you know who you are)get a grip before you spoil it for all of us
