I like this Spoons, especially in the summer as there is a good and varying ale selection at good prices for the area as well. The interior could be better, but it has a decent beer garden

Best Pub in Highgate with a nice crowd and good ales, and interior. Definatly recomended.

Not bad, and reasonably unusual, with a fashionable crowd, worth a visit.

The Lord Moon Of The Mall, Whitehall
Probably my favourite Wetherspoons, with a nice interior, good selection of drinks and good prices for the excellent location.

Great pub, great interior and selection of ales. Only problem is getting there as it is a long way up a residential street

Incredible selection of ales, but the interior is far too bright and looks like a school. Its sister pub the oakdale is a better bet but harder to get too.

The Great Northern Railway Tavern, Hornsey
One of my favourite pub interiors, and does good Guiness, although could be friendlier. Worth a visit, as is the improbably cheap and tasty Kansas Chicken over the Road.

The Harringay Arms, Crouch End
Bit too rough and ready, although its different from most of the other pubs in the centre of Crouch End.

One of the best pubs I have ever been too loads of choice, and great atmosphere. The only downside is that its hard to find.

The Southampton Arms, Gospel Oak
I went here last week and its great. Purely in terms of beer its the best pub I've ever been too. Everything I had was in superb condition. There is a good turnover and you can even recommend new beer. The d�cor is good and the crowd is a pleasant mix, and much younger than you would expect for a pub that only sells ales and real cider. My only complaint is that it is too small. If it was three times bigger it would be pretty much perfect.
