The London Regalia, London Bridge

Packed beyond belief during the summer (as it's a boat on the River Thames) and dead during the winter.

Not a bad choice of drinks. Nothing special though

The Sports Academy, Monument

I remember years and years ago when this used to be the Bull Market upstairs and the Bear Market downstairs. Upstairs was a champagne bar and downstairs was a normal pub, albeit only for people wearing suits.

The old Sports Academy always used to be dead, so at least now the upstairs seems to be slightly more busy since they did away with the sports theme and have focused on coffees, sofas and women (it seems). Not been downstairs since it changed hands, but before so it had 3 pool tables and a load of arcade / fruit machines. Drinks were normally priced and the food wasn't bad. I work just round the corner so would pop down there if I wanted a game of pool and didn't want to get hassled off the table. It's always so quiet in there that it's not a problem.

Bar Me, Enfield

Oh what a shame it's closed. What a dump.

Crown and Horseshoes, Enfield

Quite nice during the summer to sit out in the massive garden.

In winter it's a bit naff on Friday and Saturday nights. Kids playing on the pool table trying to look a lot trendier than they really are. Any other time and it's fine

Cricketers, Enfield

This is a great pub. Nice friendly staff. Non-smoking area, TVs showing Sky games, dart board, nice interior. Ok so sometimes on a Saturday night it can seem to lack a bit of atmosphere but that's only cos people are keeping themselves to themselves.

Don't agree with previous comments about limited drinks - it's a normal McMullen & Sons Brewery and so sells the same drinks as all of their other pubs.

Never had any problems getting to the bar and although I'm not a regular there I've never had the "who the hell are you" feeling when walking in there.

The Old Sergeant, Chase End

Only been there once in a group of people on a bit of a crawl. Got a few strange looks from the regulars when we first walked in, but bar staff were helpful and friendly and we had no problems.

Moon Under Water, Enfield

Like the other review states - this is a typical Wetherspoon's pub. Years ago it used to be half decent but now it's just full of under-aged kids there for the cheap booze. Despite having a large no-smoking area, it's very smokey.
