I'm from Cape Town. We are not allowed to drink on the pavement. This pub is great to stand outside on a summers evening and watch the world go by. Over 3,50 for a lager. In CPT that is R47,25. A pint lager here is R15 or 1,11 pound. It's about 7,5p for every rand so quite steep. Nice tourist trap, but what the hell,..I'm a tourist. Can't wait to go back. August next year.

The Blue Anchor, Hammersmith
Very nice summer pub. Can get very busy. Watch out for cyclists, especially after a few lagers in the sun. I was there a while back with 8 other mates from South Africa and got hit by a cyclist with 4 pints in my hands. The poor cyclist came off second best, with the loss of only i pint. LOL!! He still tried to blame me. The bar staff even offered to replace the lost pint. Was a great day.
