The Seaforth has now added a roofed area to the patio. Not only is this good for smokers in the evenings who don't want to stand in the rain, but also offers a degree of protection from the feared "midgies" in the summer. Bit less music these days but still lively on weekends and good selection of food - including some new bar tapas.

The Phoenix, Sunbury on Thames
Only wireless option here is the barmans remote control toys. Great pub, great locals. Bit run down due to lousy chain behind the place but good crack - apart from an over representative number of Welsh fans on rugby days. Fine Scotsmen!

Argyll Hotel, Ullapool
A proper pub. Lounge bar and traditional public bar. Pool room out the back. Pub grub and meals in day and evening. Good local atmosphere. Frequent music and theme nights.
