The Old England, Bispham

I now avoid this place like the plgue, the staff are a bunch of morons, I haven't been in for about 4 months, and I can honestly say that the best hing that could happen to the place since Richard left would be for it to be hit by a meteor. Honestly, the brewery should just close the palce down and demolish it

The Golden Ball, Poulton Le Fylde

This place is a pile of shite. They advertise one sporting event, then show something completely different because one sad b*****d decides they want to watch it in there instead of moving the 200 yards to the next pub which is showing it and when the barmaid is asked by the two or three people watching what was advertised why she just ignores you and goes to practice her permanent scowl. I will never go in there again

The place seems to be picking back up again now. Gala day saw it packed as usual, but there seems to be some life in the place since as well

The Hansom Cab, Lytham St Annes

They need to fix the bench outside. Has gone downhill since they got rid of the live bands

I've got to agree with the previous posting. Went back in for the first time in about six months the other day. Richard, the new landlord seems to be a great bloke, and he seems to be running the pub as it should be run. The refurb was overdue, but the place now looks great, and the food is the best its been in my memory.

Oscars, Bispham

Not too bad, has improved recently. The food's not brilliant, but it's a great place to go and have a pint.

The Bispham Hotel, Blackpool

This is a fantastic pub, with friendly staff, and they serve a great pint of Sam Smiths

The Two Bridges, Saltash

Went in a few weeks back, and I must admit, I wasn't sure what to expect. It's different since Paul and Steph went, but definitely still my favourite pub in Saltash

When did they leave afriend? I'm gutted to hear that, they were great. Not been in for about a year as I haven't been down.

Nellie Deans Piano Bar, Blackpool

Great kareoke at night, but the drinks are far too expensive. Was in there a couple of weeks back with a couple of friends and one of them was charged over 5 for a double malibu and lemonade. I'd be tempted to suggest the staff wear striped jumpers and masks.

Gynn Hotel, Blackpool

Has been recently refurbished, and wow! What a difference. This pub is one of the nicest in Blackpool with amazing views of the sunset over the sea. Serves a great pint and has a really nice atmosphere.

The Railway Hotel, Saltash

Not a bad pub. The owners are really nice, but must admit I prefer the two bridges.

Marine Hall, Fleetwood

A nice pub with a warm friendly atmosphere, and they serve a cracking pint of Pendle witch

The Yorkshire House, Lancaster

This pub is a bit like something out of the League of Gentlemen, i.e. a local pub for local people. However, it does have one saving grace, and that is the decent live music the put on upstairs. Saw a great band a few months ago called Kairoscuro.

The Three Pilchards, Polperro

A fantastic pub and as the below comment so rightly points out, they serve a wonderful pint of Doombar

The Old England, Bispham

This is a great pub with some really friendly staff. Janet, the manageress is always ready to have a chat with the customers. A pub from the Mr Qs chain, it has a wide variety of football scarves up, and while it is largely a Liverpool fan clientele, they're willing to accept anyone. Even a Plymouth Argyle fan like myself.

Nice pub with a fantastic beer garden, and the staff are really friendly. Definitely worth a visit

Burlington, Blackpool

Ate in here on Thursday, usually the food is good, but on this occasion it took over an hour to come and when it arrived it wasn't good at all.
