The Old Crown, Edenbridge

Bit too gloomy insde and in need of a spring clean. Weirdly they had run out of beer when I last visited (and Gin) but that was a couple of months ago. Courtyard out back populated by smokers, some of the B&B rooms overlook this area so they probably get a bit noisy.

The King and Queen, Edenbridge

Been in a couple of times this year and haven't found it particuarly welcoming. Lager was a bit flat on both occasions, beer garden's scruffy. Needs a bit of TLC.

The Old Eden, Edenbridge

Best pub in Edenbridge, reasonable range of beers and lagers and a guest ale. Food's not bad, but they tend to stop serving early if its a bit quiet. Good to see a pool table there aren't many places that still have them.

The Star Inn, Edenbridge

This pub has closed down, shame it was rough and ready but a decent place to watch rugby

St Margarets Tavern, St Margarets

Are there no decent pubs left in st Margaret's??? Went here for dinner last month, made the mistake of going to the restaurant area. Seriously either you run a pub or a restaurant not both. Food was pricey, wine list has really gone downhill since the refurb. Bar staff as ever make you feel like they're doing you a favour by serving you. I won't be back anytime soon. Go to the old anchor or head into twickenham, give the st margarets a miss

The Turks Head, St Margarets

As a local I have seen this pub steadily change for the worse over the years. The latest revamp is yet more disappointment. This was a decent residential street boozer, its now pretentious, seems poorly managed and over rates itself. The food is adequate but simply not good enough for what it's pitching at. Overall, if you go here expecting to be disappointed sometimes you will leave pleasantly surprised......sometimes
