Good beer, friendly staff, locals at bar always hold the door for you if struggling outside with pints. Nice covered outside area for smokers. Occasional visits from White Lion's three-legged dog. 8/10

Good pub to watch sports, but that's about it. Last time I went there was a group of coked-up children telling racist jokes, and the garden was littered with dog turds. Nice.

Vile city centre 'pub', popular with moneyed professionals who are keen to eliminate any possibility of rubbing shoulders with the poor. Ideal venue for discussing cosmetic dentistry, house prices, private healthcare, organic sushi, George Osbourne's dress sense, boutique camping at Glasto, capital punishment, sterilisation of the unemployed, etc. Spotlessly clean.
