Cracking beer, great stone baked pizzas, friendly locals and staff. Excellent. Sister pub to the also excellent Swan and Rushes.

More of a bar than a pub, but still serving excellent Old Speckled Hen and Bitburger on draught. Superb interior decor and second to none servce, Maiyango also does food, although I always just stick to the booze. Cocktails are fantastic, with the Mojito being the best in Leicester.
Liike i said, not a pub, but well worth a visit or including on a crawl,

The Rutland and Derby, Leicester
A fantastic pub, serving the biggest selection of imported beers you will ever see on draught.
A really friendly atmosphere, with a very relaxing ambience and decor, but still with the atmosphere of a pub. And its non-smoking. Also, one of the few places in the area selling the excellent Innes And Gunn sigle malt ale, which is splendid.

Excellent local boozer serving a very good pint of Tiger. Friendly landlord , landlady and generally friendly locals. A good pub in an area without much choice.

The Looking Glass, Leicester
Run by the same people as the also excellent Rutland and Derby in the city centre, this pleasant pub on the fashionable Braunstone Gate is a real find. Excellent range of drinks, particularly imported lagers, a late licence, and live music regularly, all add to a good all round drinking hole.
