The bar staff systematically pour short measures of beer. Fullers should put a stop to this, as it is giving their otherwise excellent beer a bad reputation.

Doctors Tonic, Welwyn Garden City
This pub is not clean enough to serve food (although they do). The bouncers seem to be looking for a fight, and have no manners.

Good real ales, but service leaves a lot to be desired. Took a group of friends to here in Feb. the central heating was broken and the dinign room was freezing. The manageress refused to light the fire as she said she wanted to get away early and it took too long to put it out. Enough said.

Long Arm and Short Arm, Welwyn Garden City
Nice pub. Decent food and reasonable McMullen ales. This pub has been doing live jazz on Thursdays for years.

Top class selection of perfectly kept ales. Best pub in Welwyn.

Poor selection of beers, extremely smoky. No food served - even at lunchtime. Best avoided.

If you like real ale (or even well kept lager) - this is the pub.

Both London Pride and Fullers ESB were perfect. In terms of beer alone this pub gets 9/10.

The White Horse, Harrow
The mens toilets are in desperate need of renovation. On a clear day you can sample the aroma of the toilets from the restaurant section. Where are the health inspectors...
