Sorry but just don't get it poky hole, beer warm 'no cellar' kept on floor, food alright but expensive, Landlord not charecter just very very ignorant, ex tractor driver, went for Sunday lunch, cramped, but only 12 people in their, and went to get wife another wine told they wetre closed and then carried on serving locals for at least another half hour, ''say locals but nearly all from London, and just bought up the village

Could not believe this place from the outside looked like country pub although on busy main road inside awfull service terrible food well, sent it back Landlady ofering to much ! Landlord foul mouthed ignorant chav from London or Lee Park I think, please do not waste your money hear

Came across this gem of a pub whilst out for a stroll, and fell in love with the place as quick as a skip, wont bleet on to much but the beer was well kept the food was scrummy, 'loved the salad' and the service was so good I felt like I had been hand fed, if you are wandering around in the chalk valley then you must pay them a visit. By the way if the Landlord & Landlady read this then I must just say, THANK YOU for making me feel like I was at home

The Crown, Salisbury
Went back to visit and can't believe it just gets better all of the time, Landlord quote is that it will take 2 years to get pub up and running as he would like it, well I can only imagine what it will be like then, you must visit this gem, in the most pretty valley in the south, walks galore
