Very old fasioned pub with some good local Ales. The Cat Charles is a bit of a bloody pain though!

OMG what a night I had in here yesterday.
Pulled some right sort, took her home and absolutely smashed the granny out of her.
This morning she made me a smashing little fry up. I love this place !

I think Black Sqwark Brown has been smoking too much of the exotic old Holborn.
Came here last night with me crew. With some of the old sorts up at the bar I thought they had a drag night on. Decent munch though, had the breaded cod washed down with a swig of white. Nice.

Used to be a complete shit hole in the late eighties but got it's act together in the last few years. Now its gone back to the way it was. Never eaten here myself but my mate Harry says its like 30 quid a dish to eat crap from Iceland.
It can't be true about old Raymond owning this gaff surely?
p.s Fair play to them they have done the shitters up nice.
