The Frog Inn the Bedford, Fulham

A pleasant and welcoming pub with a street side “lounge” bar leading through a glass connecting door to the “public” bar which has a good pool table and a darts area with regulation raised oche. Cards and other games are also popular in here. This room is regularly used for functions; weddings, christenings, first communions etc.
There is a well kept patio style beer garden to the rear of the bar, quite a sun trap, decorated with lots of varied potted plants.
Staff members are pleasant and efficient and join in with the conversation, discussions and general banter enjoyed by a majority of friendly clients.
A good range of keg beers, lagers and ciders is available along with two cask ales of good quality served on hand pump.
Thank goodness there are one or two real pubs left in Fulham!

The Norman Arms, Fulham

This Pub is now definitely called The Rylston.
It is on the corner of a massive council estate and appears to be a pseudo gastro pub. It seems not to have a huge clientele. Not surprisingly with prices like a large whisky at £6.00 and a pint of lager for £4.50 only 2 days ago.

The Frog Inn the Bedford, Fulham

This pub has been renamed to its original name " The Bedford Arms" quite a while ago. It has also had some changes of management since the last published review and great improvements have been made. Now well worth a visit.

The Wilton Arms, Fulham

It seems a shame to report that previous reviews of this establishment are only now of historical interest.
Owing to “unfortunate” circumstances this pub was closed in early March 2013, losing its licences. It was finally vacated in early June and securely boarded up with metal grilles. Rumours are that it will continue as an empty non trading edifice until January 2014. Then it may be re-opened as a pub if new licences are granted or it may be re-developed as flats. Anyone’s guess, I hope it’s the first option but who knows. Watch this space
