A proper spit and sawdust drinkers pub! The locals can be a bit rough and ready but on the whole friendly and welcoming. Good beer at a good price.

Dead right about this pub being more a food pub than a drinkers pub and quite expensive too! Try it on a Sunday night which is quiz night and good fun!

Good, lively pub especially on weekends. My only real gripe is that I had to pay �3.00 for a bottle of Newcastle Brown Ale!

Did'nt feel at home here at all! Snobby place which is a shame because the pubs which used to be here were excellent!
