Used to drink in here all the time, friday nights are especially good, and, unlike the old Talbot, the bikers aren't likely to beat you up at a moments notice. Still referred to as "The Trough" by anyone over 30.

Usual Wetherspoons clientele, drunks near the front, lads at the bar, but that's where the similarity ends. The pub is well designed, the bar staff friendly and quick, and the food is much better than the usual JD standards, at least it was the last time I visited.

Not too bad, considering it's a wetherspoons, and I liked the nice touch of being able to drink on the train station platforms. The foods up to the usual JD standards, though.

Visited here a couple of weeks ago. We went in for just the one, and ended up staying all evening. A little rough, but friendly regulars, and not too expensive at all.

Yes, the usual Wetherspoons clientele. Old drunks near the front doors, and gangs of lads close to violence at the weekends. Low ceiling in the main bar, and toilets that you need a map to find don't help, either.

Cold and soulless, even by Bar Sports standards, understaffed at weekends, but even when empty the bar staff are slow and apathetic.

An excellent pub, with friendly bar staff, good food, and regular bands. Nominally Irish themed, but this only amounts to a few Guiness adverts on the walls. Best on saturday nights. Real sawdust on the floor, too.

Bar Sports Walsall, Walsall
The food's not too bad, usually, though they seem to have a rotation of chefs going on, so it varies considerably. Usual Bar Sports, huge tv screens, blokes in footie shirts and girls with mini skirts. Door staff seem particularly unfriendly, too.
