The Old Market Tavern, Altrincham

Last saturday walla ,more bar staff ,still packed to the rafters but service was better ,keep it up !! ,on the bands ,yes could do better ,look at the bakers vaults in stockport if you want a better choice ,George Borrowski would go down a bomb here as well as the modern world ,needs a varied
music policy ,vastly improved beer choice ,lets see a better music choice and please please do something with the accoustic night !!!,which has got to be seen to be believed ,

The Gorse Hill, Stretford

most of the clientelle drink in the doorway ,surrounded by mountain bikes big pub ,only ever used the loo ,would not drink here ,used to have fight night in carpark ,front of pub on a regular basis ,who needs sky tv

Steamhouse, Urmston

New pub /station conversation ,at night full of chavs off to chavtown ,voted pub of month with Trafford Camra ,unsure why ?,not a patch on other railside pubs (stalybridge etc) ,but may change ,

The Roebuck, Altrincham

i totally agree with iain, this is a great pub and also the first pub I ever visited some thirty odd years ago, before going to stamford hall ,the stalybridge celtic stretford branch give it a thumbs up ,we have always had good service ,good beer (perhaps another guest please ! ) and the surroundings /decor are probably the best in Alty ,more support please ,look at the fifty odd pubs closing each week and support this one !

The Malt Shovells, Altrincham

Usually call in here ,beer is good and cheap ,problem i have it can have the feel of a youth club ,cries out for the return of jazz or even a folk night as loads of room ,lets see sam smiths buck the trend with this pub ,

The Bricklayers, Altrincham

Very small pub ,can be problem getting served if not a regular, not usually on our weekly alty pub crawls ,could offer better range of beers to attract more customers

The Orange Tree, Altrincham

after being frustrated at waiting at the bar in OMT over the road we went in here it was Karaoke ,which i hate ,the two beers that were on Black Sheep and duechars were not they best i have tasted ,strange pub this ,mixture of clientelle when were there from a bunch of 80 year olds on what may have been a stag night ,to a lot of young girls falling all over ,having been on the lash all day ,however the highlight for me was one of the biker /angel guys singing lionel ritchies "all night long " ,the decking (smokers corner )
they have looks like an overcrowded raft ,that has caught fire ,not my best
night in Alty

The Old Market Tavern, Altrincham

In here saturday night ,place was 10 deep at bar ,with 3 bar staff and average 2o minute wait ,great selection of beer if only could get my hands on it ,left after a pint as did not want to end the night sober

The Station, Altrincham

Better now with Janet in charge ,unsure what went on at the Old Market but she is full of energy (despite the foot injury ) ,note Dunham beer as regular ,like to see more people in there ,clientelle completely changed ,no rubbish ,Janet deserves a chance ,perhaps one or two more casks would help ,was in there last week all the shirts were there ?

The Malt Shovells, Altrincham

great prices and despite what some real ale buffs say ,good beer ,not the same without market dave ,but some of the other locals make up for it,i often wonder how the guy with the bike gets home !! ,strange mixture of clientelle, ranging from students sitting round the one pint to the old regulars
who are trying to save a few bob

The Old Market Tavern, Altrincham

its true on sat and sunday evenings ,its hectic ,another barperson would probably do it! ,great selection of real ale and where else would you see so
many look alikes ie "young Mick Hucknall" the Alty fan ,Rod Stewart ,Scoutman ,Rhytham is a dancer -the old guy who dances to the rock bands ,the colonel and finally the worlds tallest biker ,all these guys get in here at weekends ,well worth a visit
