It is sometime since I have used this pub regularly. The beer is still served too cold for my liking, which is probably a good thing, because at �3.70 for Courage Best I can't afford too many pints. When I got home I felt as if I had been mugged!! This pub seems to be trying to be something it isn't - a trendy establishment - they serve the food on planks of wood and the chips come in a metal bucket for goodness sake!!

Was pleasantly suprised when visiting this pub for the 1st time in a long while. Bar Staff are very attentive, always keep themselve busy between serving by cleaning, polishing stocking up etc. The pub down the road could do with seeing how Bar Staff here operate. Food looks to be good value. Brilliant policy on children. Pubs are for adults to wind down in after a hard days work they are not Kindergarten.

Visited this pub again just recently. I fell over when I found out that ordinary bitter was �3.55 and guest ales wee an extra 20p. This is taking the proverbial!!!
Unfriendly Bar staff are ALWAYS on their mobiles texting etc. Counter awash with beer. They all need a lesson in customer care. No beer mats to soak up spillage from the flat, over cold expensive bitter.
What a shame this pub has come to this.

Kings Head, Freiston
What a smashing little local. The Batemans is terrific. Full of characters. If you are 6' 2" or over prepare to duck!! Floral Displays outside are a sight for sore eyes.
