The Gipsy Hill Tavern, Upper Norwood

Great local and friendly pub. Best pint of Guiness and beer garden in Crystal Palace. Hearty open fires in Winters, brilliant function room, bands and music too.

The Railway Bell, Crystal Palace

The Bell is a gem of a back street pub I've found off Gipsy Hill, and chuffed to now call my local. Warm cosy and friendly. Real fires in the winter and a beer garden ready for BBQs in summer. And, the beer is supurb!

The Queens Head, St Pancras

What a great back street pub, only 5 mins from Kings Cross (just off the Gray's Inn Rd). It is an evening in October... It is cold and wet outside but lovely and warm inside, most tables busy... few sitting at the bar... so busy... But what do you notice... no one is having to shout to be heardso a pub where you can actually chat and talk and relax. The beers are excellent... real good selection and all the ones tried were superb (and very impressive to see Buxton Brewery available by the bottle too)... And if not sure what to try... trying a sample is totally befitting from the friendly staff. Simple, but hearty food too.
