The Railway Hotel, Cheam

Fab place that I take guests to. Cosy and welcoming is the word with a sleepy black cat. Although the loos could do with some investment and another beer on offer.

The Angel, Sutton

Jeremy Kyle should do a special here. It's such a shame because this has good location and size.

29 Jun 2010 11:31

The Sydney Arms, Sutton

Great for sixth-form parties or paggas with pikeys.

29 Jun 2010 11:28

The Prince Regent, Sutton

This isn't a place for human habitation.

29 Jun 2010 11:23

The Grapes, Sutton

Not bad. For a Spoons.

29 Jun 2010 11:22

The Sutton Arms, Sutton

I would like to update on this pub... it is a hell hole.

29 Jun 2010 11:20

The Cock and Bull, Sutton

A good pub to visit or meet-up at. Unecessary 21s policy though.

29 Jun 2010 11:19

All Bar One, Sutton

Reasonable beers (but why ice chill London Pride?!) with plenty of space. Bar staff were arsey with the 21s policy though.

29 Jun 2010 11:16

The Lincoln Arms Hotel, Dorking

A few more seats wouldnt go a miss.

Gamecock, Worcester Park

Having been back several times, the layout is fab in the terms of being seperated from others. Really good beers on, but the pricing always leaves me with odd coppers. Lack of females as one expected.

The Dog and Fox, Wimbledon Village

I hate to be negative, but this is not the best pub around. Too dark, expensive and not a proper boozer.

The Brewery Tap, Wimbledon Village

A very good place to congregate and get intoxicated on a fine range of brews. Decent staff and facilities despite it becoming a bit sterile interior-wise. My wallet got pinched when I was last there, so beware.

The Crown, Four Oaks

Pretty good overall just before Christmas. My steak was not brilliant, but the selection of beers was good. Staff are some of the best around. Atmosphere is more of a pub-resturant than a 'boozer'.

The Red Lion, Bishop Sutton

Alright boozer, with a good location for other stuff, range could be improved. The Stones used to play here back in the day.

O'Neills, Sutton

Was pretty quiet for a Friday evening. Ordered a pint of the black stuff, girl half poured it, then went for her fag break - great service love! It does have a good range, mind.

31 Jan 2008 12:52

The Sutton Arms, Sutton

Generally OK. Nothing majorly attractive apart from it being an escape from the hell holes in Sutton on a weekend.

30 Jan 2008 11:39

The Revolution Bar, Sutton

Atrociously bad. Not staffed enough so be prepared to wait 8 mins at the bar on a quiet weekday evening. Littered with empty glasses and fighting off-duty staff. And this place is an utter rip-off.

30 Jan 2008 11:36

The Crown, Sutton

Was alright on a Friday evening. Be prepared to be stared at by the regulars. Nice interior and plenty of seats in what is a small building.

30 Jan 2008 11:32

The Moon on the Hill, Sutton

No longer serve Ray and Nephews on its own. Gay or what.

17 Jan 2008 15:56

The Moon on the Hill, Sutton

Pros: Cheap, good range, OK place to meet young and old drunkards of Sutton, booths.

Cons: Utterly filthy, chavified, glasses never never ever get collected, not enough seats.

Stop taking the piss Mr. Wetherspoon!

Ye Olde Harrow, Thames Ditton

Could do with a spruce up, but on the whole a good experience.

17 Dec 2007 14:13

The Lincoln Arms Hotel, Dorking

If this is the one next to Dorking main station, then this pub is good. Nice and warm, good bar n pretty barmaids. Perfect if you just missed your train.

Ganleys, Morden

Very disappointing. I had heard this place was great. Got in, not a comfortable atmosphere, went to the bar, drinks were OK, ordered food - thats where it went very wrong. My mate's steaks were served and gobbled up 10mins before mine arrived, with no apology for the delay and the constant lying of the serving staff. I won't go again!

Gamecock, Worcester Park

m8s local, went there, had a comfortable evening, with good drinks, free grub and halloween cocktails. ive had the initation of being attacked by the handryer. i didnt see anything wrong with the place to be honest!

The Blackfriar, Blackfriars

Really unique architecture, features and stuff with a Medieval/Victorian feel. Great location and range of ales. Staff were good, and the facilities above average. Thumbs up.

26 Sep 2007 19:06

The Sherlock Holmes, Charing Cross

Very, very good pub. On the ball, chatty and welcoming innkeeps, food was scrummy but overpriced in my opinion. House ale 'Sherlock Holmes Ale' was brillo. Decent customers and decent, clean and characterful inside and out.

26 Sep 2007 19:01

The Harp, Covent Garden

What a gem! Great decor inside and out and beers and stuff. Shame its kinda small and lunch wasnt very exciting, but still one of the best pubs.

26 Sep 2007 18:55

Ivory Lounge, Sutton

im not sure what this place is, or why people go.

19 Sep 2007 14:11

BRB, Sutton

pants

19 Sep 2007 14:09

The Dolphin, Sutton

With the lack of custom you'd think the landlord would have time to sort this place out a bit. Since the smoking ban the smell of piss-stained regulars shines through. Real lack of beers.

12 Sep 2007 16:03

The Cobweb Inn, Boscastle

Very good pub. Excellent range, building and garden are lovely and it works really well for visiting Boscastle.

28 Jul 2007 19:27

Bar Sia, Wimbledon

The old spa bit is a bit grotty and could do with a scrub up to get it to its potential, and the drinks range is pants. However, Ive been to a cracking party there.

4 Jul 2007 16:42

The Warrington Hotel, Maida Vale

Quality

4 Jul 2007 16:39

The Robin Hood, Sutton

bootiful

26 Jun 2007 17:32

The Ramblers Rest, Chipstead

Had been at the BWTT and went after for coffee and cwasonts. The exterior is lovely with sufficient car parking.

However, it is...

Under staffed with incompetant staff who make a hot chocolate that is bitter and are thoughtless in the service they provide, sold cold hard cwasonts they obviously just bought from the cornershop after taking a massive order making everyone wait upto 30mins, a riduclous rip-off and somewhere I will never set foot in again nor recommend to anybody.

An awful experience.

16 Jun 2007 12:42

The Dickens Tavern, Paddington

OK pub, but nothing too attractive about it. The Pride is consistently good, I can't complain about prices. The staff are capable and friendly.

16 Jun 2007 12:31

The Grapes, Sutton

empty, rubbish, dirty

7 Jun 2007 18:56

Barley Mow, Leicester

Very good, comfortable, very friendly staff, quiet with a background, good range of well kept ales, perfect distance of the city centre and station, loos could be better, but will visit again.

10 Mar 2007 19:31

The Prince Regent, Sutton

Over 21's Policy, formerly known as Fielder & Firkin. Opposite Sutton Green.
