The Boaters Inn, Kingston Upon Thames

Cant fault the location, the ale is generally pretty good if you can dodge all the 4x4 pushchairs and actually get to the bar. I dont normally smoke, but make an exception here just to annoy the screaming brats' parents. Also the weather could be better.

The Kings Tun, Kingston Upon Thames

Yes it's a Wetherspoons. But the ale is well kept and cheap and the barmaids are lovely. Get a window seat to watch the lemmings driving round Kingston's one way system swearing at each other and the Foxton estate agents next door walking fast because they're very important and busy. Tits. Good for an afternoon pint or two.

The Boaters Inn, Kingston Upon Thames

unrivalled river location, excellent ales, friendly staff. Food is borderline ok for the price.

Harts Boatyard, Surbiton

Avoid. Money spinner due to location. Owners rake it in, while staff cant cope and take the flak on minimum wage.

The Waggon and Horses, Surbiton

Best pub in Surbiton by a long chalk. Loads of space, partly under cover garden and still has a carpet. Good, if you like real ale, food, great staff and relaxation. Bad, if you expect 3.20 to buy you a pint of fosters and a curry, whilst watching sky sports 7.
