The St Lawrence Tavern, St Lawrence

Well, pretty much as Earlo Fwimbourne said it!

Jackson's Wharf, Ramsgate

Bit of a trendy bar. Well decorated but a little cosmopolitan for my taste. Also, as pointed out previously, no ale any more so I don't bother with the place now.
Great place to go and show off your new Rolex, though.

The Foy Boat, Ramsgate

A charming pub with a quiet atmosphere, which is nice for conversation or eating their excellent food. One of the few pubs left that offer accomodation and, I believe, at a reasonable rate.
Ales are good and usually include Gadds, Greene King IPA and Abbot.

The Montefiore Arms, Ramsgate

Lovely little boozer with a good, if a little odd, atmosphere. Two handpumps on the bar, one of which hosts a regular ale and the other which hosts a changing tide of guest ales. Not so sure about Gadds being normally available but I've seen it on in there on occasion. No jukebox but there's a pool room out the back with a pinball machine and, oddly enough, a pool table in it.
The landlord, Andy, is quite a character and I get the impression that pretty much everything that happens in the pub is at his discretion.

The Artillery Arms, Ramsgate

Wouldn't have a bad thing to say about the place, myself. Erm, except, possibly a bad idea to have a free jukebox on Sundays. Have seen various people playing jazz on the keyboard of the thing (you know, just whacking keys at random), but am yet to discover who keeps putting on the whole soundtracks to The Blues Brothers and Grease, Rawhide is now no longer electrifying. Nice to see at least one of the Ramsgate pubs making good use of the new licensing laws, though!
