Last time I was in there (about a month ago) I was served two totally undrinkable pints. I turned the pumpclips round myself, but noticed that the bar-staff turned them back around and continued serving! Shame.

A hidden gem. One of the best pubs in Holborn and served me the finest pint of Old Hooky I've ever had!

Decent enough W'spoons boozer. Never had to return a pint here so that's worth a few extra points!

Depressing place with either no ale or badly kept ale.

The Jerusalem Tavern, Clerkenwell
The quality of the ale is questionnable at times, you're never quite sure if the pint will be spot on or past its sell-by date. Shame because I really like the place.

Best town-centre pub in Rhyl. Thwaites beers served in comfortable surroundings.

No real ale and a god-awful karaoke seemingly every night. Move next door to the Golden Lion!

Normally two well-kept real ales on offer, Greene King Abbot Ale and Old Speckled Hen. Overall, the pub really needs a good clean!

Multi-roomed pub which has been untouched for years, a good thing in this age of "gastro-pubs" etc. The beer range concentrates on the range available from the local Denbigh brewery, Bragdy'r Bryn. Normally available is Bryn Bitter plus one other.

Recently refurbished pub with a good choice of well-kept real ales (Tetley Dark Mild, Brains SA, Youngs Bitter, John Smiths Cask).

My favourite Bangor boozer. Great location and serves a good selection of well-kept real ales.
