been here a few times always around 5 real ales on quality is fine nice mixed age group worth a visit.

ok spoons real ale quality good but on a weekend there is never enough bar staff on and they have put loads of tables n chairs right by the bar which is crazy on the weekends just not enough room by the bar area.

Dear malo66 yes as a camra member of many years i do know that but the simple fact is a lot of camra members are as my self and like a head on there real ale as i know alot of members donot like a head ,and even in london i have fullers ales with a better head/condition than in the joint stock .its a case of each to there own,even realale fans.

decent pub range of 4 or 5 realales in good condition they had a mini ale festival in the back yard on our visit,but not one dark real ale on .

big portions of food we had sunday lunch which was tasty although the roast spuds were rather burnt,a couple of real ales in good condition had the hobsons,shame no dark ale on .

popped in on a sunday night good atmosphere live singer on good intreasting decor, the realales were in good condition bathams was on to,but a shame no dark real ale on.

typical wetherspoons ales in good condition good prices but the decor is a bit bland handy for early breakfast to.

this pub maybe under new managment judgeing by the sign outside.comfy atmosphere 3 realales in good condition,nothing realy different,wye valley and rev james ,coxs pippin, shame no dark ales on tap.

couple of ales on normally wye valley and purity quality ok different decor which we liked ,the music playing was strange ,a bit hit and miss on the service.

still know as the smelley wellie in desprate need of some windows that open or air con as gets so busy some of the prices can be way over the top for the ales,decent choice ,although not enough dark ales quality can be abit flat at times.

have been in here many times over the years but lately service seems to be a lot better seems to be more staff , and the quality of the real ales have been very good indeed a new manger maybe?,one night we came back in after we had been to a show to have some more of a great dark ale we had earlier but it had all gone ,on chatting to the duty manger he said he was about to put 2new ales on and wood see if he could find a dark one to put on for us now thats what i call first class service.

great building well worth a look but real ale is so flat ,if it has a head it last 1minute same every time we go in and when ur paying sky high prices we expect a top quality pint service can be very hit and miss in here to .

o dear looks good from the outside not bad inside but totally spoilt by the way too bright lighting , spoilt the atmosphere,the real ales were fine condition ok.

stayed here for the night rooms clean small but could do with a update,the real ales we tried in the bar were in decent condition the mild that was on good,but seems to lack a bit of atmosphere dosent seem to have all the pictures/historys ect you normally see in a weatherspoons.

sunday luch visit, the real ales were in good condition the staff were very nice enjoyed our visit and wood pop in again when in shrewsbury.

really nice pub great to see the lighting at the right level and the candels burning adds so much to the atmosphere,the young lady who served us was very nice and chaty,good range of realale n cider 4got the name of the dark ale we tried but it was lovely and intop condition,well worth a visit

good choice of ales but getting expesive for the ales
as no windows that open can get a bit smelly in there and why have bar stools hogging the serveing area on busy weekend nights?

used to be good but seem to av gone down hill a bit lateley sum of the staff are nice sum are misrable
