The Florence Tavern, Islington
Very relaxed pub. Pleased to see a rugby pub in Islington. Enjoyed the Brains.
I have yet to see Louis Le Prince in concert, mind.
That might alter my view of the Landlord!

Beer is good. Worth a visit after Saracens games as well as before. Landlord knows his rugby. Fezboys always make you welcome. BBQ outside in the warmer part of the rugby season.

The Glass Works, Angel, Islington
This may not be one of Islington's renowned Gastropubs, but it is cheerful and friendly.
And people seem to be happy. They smile. In London.
Pretty good range of beers and reasonably priced. Staff are ok.
