An ok pub in an area with bars! However, not the best experience I've had. Just so that John(below) is correct, the HA was the first pub in the wharf, and is by far the best place to go for a beer, anytime, you are always welcome!

Woodins Shades, Liverpool Street
An ok pub, in the city! As a local, it's a bit...naff!! Staff are not as helpful as they could be, and being honest, the beer's not that good either! Think I only keep going back 'cos it's cheap, and, it's NOT Wetherspoons!!!

What a place, great whenit's quiet, they tend to have enough staff then, other than that, they are short staffed, waiting times are long and you tend to be ignored.
Friday nights experience, was one not be re-lived, as the service was so poor, and the fact that they crush everyone in so tightly, you can't breathe.
place to party - NO! Try elsewhere!!

I can't believe you guys slate this place..It's by far the best place in the area, with great location, great staff and great beer!
Thank God for Thursday Nights! Love the DJ, he's great and the music is so cheesey...it's great!

Not the sort of place you'd bring your girlfriend! Big hairy builders, shouting, swearing and generally being boistrous. Not for a great night out, but a great place to score some coke or anything else you're after!!
