Waxy O'Connors, Piccadilly

Fantasticly intricate layout inside but the times I've been in here it's been rammed full of neanderthals looking for a fight (granted that's not the pubs fault).

Nice food, over priced drinks but what do you expect from the area?

Waxy's Little Sister, Piccadilly Circus

Nice intimate little pub that's a great spot for people watching.

All Bar One, Leicester Square

All together now...NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!

Awful place that seems to be overrun by pretentious 'suits'.

The Hogshead, Leicester Square

I know I'll probably get torrents of abuse for this but I don't think it's that bad of a pub.

The service that I've received has always been decent, the barstaff that I've encountered have always been extremely approachable and friendly and the table service that they offer in the back section of the pub makes a nice alternative to shoe horning yourself to the bar at the busier times.

The food though is atrocious - they served my wife chips with a roast dinner??? What the hell is that about - in their defence once we had complained they gave us a full refund.

Yates's, Leicester Square

Firstly the doorstaff are atrocious and seem to think that only groups of an equal female to male ratio should be allowed in after 8pm. If you're in a large group and there happens to be 1 or 2 single people with you then they don't let you in, how ridiculous is that?

Once inside it's not a bad Yate's apart from the over inflated prices (especially for the area), good music and atmosphere if you're actualyl allowed in by Fred Flintstone and his mates on the door.

The Bear and Staff, Leicester Square

Not a bad boozer.

There's better around the area but there is also ALOT worse.

The Zoo Bar, Leicester Square

Not to bad once the downstairs turns into a nightclub but if you go in here during the day expecting a decent pint then you will be deeply dissapointed.

Always a nice selection of women in here late night / early morning the few times I've visited (although that may well be influenced by the amount I've had to drink).

Willow Walk, Victoria

As far as Wetherspoons McPub's go this isn't bad, a friendly place and the service that I've had in here has never been all that bad.

As I've said in posts about previous 'spoons pubs - what exactly do you expect from them. They are there for cheap booze and not much else - if you've got a group of mates and you want to start the night off somewhere quieter and easy on the wallet then what more could you want?

The Stag, Victoria

Whenever my wife and I come to London this is a pub we visit, the fact it's a gay pub is really irrelevant - friendly staff, good clientele and decent prices.

Highly reccommended.

The Duke of York, Victoria

Absolutely miles better than the nearby Shakespeare (but then again so is a public toilet), decent pub, bit pricey but then that's to be expected in a pub next door to a theatre in London.

Wetherspoons, Victoria Station

I appreciate it's not the best pub I've ever been in but what exactly do people expect from a Wetherspoons in one of Britain's busiest train stations?

Standard Wetherspoons McPub - good for a cheap first drink / meeting point when starting a night out in London but not much else.

The Stage Door, Victoria

Not as bad as it's being made to sound, it's just a standard pub, one average sized room, not a terrible selection of beers but not the best, does exactly what any pub near a theatre does and no more.

The Shakespeare, Victoria

Truely awful place - no soul or feel to the place whatsoever. The staff and manager obviously haven't heard of the term CUSTOMER SERVICE or ever have a clue on how to clean a toilet.

Avoid unless you really want to see what hell is like.
