Has had a recent refurbishment, did not eat as this time but sent a great hour talking with customers, couple of real ales.

Good ales, excellent food prices and deals with always a selection of guest ales. Has had a refurbishment and is a regular in the Good Beer Guide by Camara. Has a working mens bar which helps keep them happy on a Friday night. Steady customer flow so they have got things right.

Has a selection of 3 cask ales with prices clearly displayed. Beer good and excellent prices for meals, staff work hard but always have time to be friendly and chat.

I have visited this pub in the past and have been satisfied but on a recent visit in May with only 4 other customers in the pub and all seated. I waited 5 minutes with 3 members of staff behind the bar all interested in talking to each other than serving. My wife and I left after making it known to them that I was far from happy and will not visit the pub in future.

The Ship Inn, Haskayne
Visited this pub, which has a pleasant location alongside the Liverpool Leeds canal and although it is child friendly the food prices are far too dear for what is bog standard fare.
