The Waggon and Horses, Surbiton

As one of the regulars, I can say that I am delighted. Not sure about the Hawaii style covering on the outside bit but I gather this is only a temporary measure. Now if they can just get rid of the Youngs beers completely.....

Very friendly staff and I understand the guest beer will be a regular feature which will be good as I love the pub but not too keen on Youngs beers

The Gazebo, Kingston Upon Thames

Went here on Sunday, nice view, friendly and efficient staff. It has its faults but as a place to come to in the Summer all they need to do is sort out the food. Chips are so much nicer if they've actually been fried after they've been blanched.

The Eel Pie, Twickenham

Very friendly staff and locals. Fave pub in Twickenham

The Ram, Kingston Upon Thames

I heard a rumour and I believe it may well be true that a number of people have died of old age/thirst/starvation waiting to be served here.

Potentially a great pub. Realistically until they sort out the shockingly slow service one to avoid unless you are a student looking for a cheap night out

The Duke of Buckingham, Kingston Upon Thames

This is my nearest pub. But it's not "my local"

The Grove Tavern, Surbiton

Good grief what was I thinking. Actually of the wonderful Spring Grove. Agree with all the negative comments below. It's like a creche but one where the adults only leave the kids from a mental, rather than also a physical, perspective

Great big Newfoundland woofer to play with. Your hand will stink but hard to resist.

Have never been a big fan of Youngs beers and the addition of CW Bombardier makes what has always been a great welcoming hostelry even better.

Pagliacci, Holborn

If you have a suit that's a bit shiny and work in recruitment you'll love this place. Even if you haven't although it's rammed on a Friday, the staff are far more efficient and quick than you'd expect given the queues at the bar and the view is usually fairly good.
