Its reopened tonight and busy, very nicely decorated, new lay out with new doors fitted, i like it but sadly staff go awol at times and my biggest concern is nesbits using the disabled toilets and staff do nothing about it.

Best bar in Aberdeen, pure and simple, mostly rosemounters use it, several huge tvs, a bandit and quiz machine, wee toilets, darts board with 2 internationals in the team, staff are friendly but its packed every weekend, 10 out of 10.

Just to go in but sadly bar is poor, dirty, several things stand out and thats staff being rude and some of the customers they allow in, they did improve but i wouldnt be keen to take my kids in, food was very disappointing, very. 4 out of 10, disabled toilets abused all the time, sticky seats and floors, dirty.

Bar reopened with new management, a lovely pub, good staff, decent pint and handy for buses home, 2 minutes from town

This bar was suppose to close down in Feb 2007 yet is still open and i wonder why its still open as its become a joke, the lounge is closed most of the time but have the garden bar open from thursday to sunday but dirty and tacky. The bar is probably the worse bar in Grampian, pints do taste nice but you have to fork out �2.40 and more expensive after 6pm, holes in walls, seats ripped up and very dirty thoughout, staff are the poorest ive ever encountered, it opens 10am everyday except sunday and a Q forming at 10am with all the dodgy characters and alcohics who use this dump, i wish they knock this place down WITH all those idiots who use it, best thing that could happen, when i 1st went in i was blown away by the place as it was a proper bar but it hasnt been decorated in over 10 years and with hotel above it leaking then the building could fall down while your in for a pint, you you want a cheap pint goto Justice Mill next door at �1.69 for a pint of carlsberg is fantastic value but sadly this bells bar is a bad example what happens when micky mouse people like the Marrs buy it

This place and the Bells Bar are a disgrace, once the best pubs in Aberdeen is so run down it should be closed down, the staff are the worst ive encountered in years, the customers(some) are very dodgy, great if you want cheap knockoffs. This place is due to close down something in 2008, thank god as am hoping that they spend money on it to bring it upto standard, very poor place, better going next door to Chicago Rock Cafe, Only �1.50 a pint.

Having worked in this place, it does have good points but more bad points, the food is good and cheap, the drink is rather expensive and the staff are sometimes hard to find if you are looking to be served. The place is quite untidy and the gents toilets are rather disgusting, the cleaners just arent doing a good job as by looking from the outside you see the windows full of rubbish. If the enviromental department came in it would be closed down. Great if you want to watch big games even if the staff are moaning if its a not a Liverpool/Arsenal game, its there for the customers?? Lack of staff is a big NO NO with me, move the suites and you will see loads of rubbish, its that poor.

I like this place, tennents at �1.50 a pint, its hidden away from street, nice little place, free jukebox, 8 out of 10. The staff are very friendly.

The Lochside Bar, Aberdeen
Sadly its knocked down but a good pub in its day with decent staff, will be sadly missed.
