The Doric Arch, Euston

Two minutes from the platforms at Euston, so perfect for that last minute pint. Fantastic range of real ales, and friendly service. Can get very crowded, but hey- its a railway station. TV screens, major sporting events shown.

Food very reasonable, but not spectacular. Better than any of the stuff on offer at the station though!

The John Gilbert, Worsley

Nice, friendly pub, (H&H)

Old Trip always on, with guest ale changing each month

Boathouse, Irlam

Used to be a great pub, but now a shadow of its former self,

Ex-Landlord now at the Railway, with most of the regulars!

Popular haunt of younger drinkers having their first legal drink, and not very welcoming

Claims to have a range of guest beers, but usually only one on.

This pub has the potential to be a winner, as its in the middle of a (location, layout etc), but the brewery need to sort it out

The Railway, Irlam

Recently refurbished and the best pub in the area

Only Boddies on tap, but the same can be said of everywhere else in Irlam!

Live music at weekends, and good atmosphere

The Rams Head, Denshaw

Probably the best pub food in the north.

Small bar (with snacks( and three large eating rooms)

All cooked to order and well presented - Don't expect to be served in five minutes though - Eating here is an experience, and worth the wait. Service is friendly and unhurried

Black Sheep and Taylor Landlord on tap.

Great fires in winter (well, eleven months of the year!)

10/10!
