The Weymouth Arms, Warminster

And again on Sunday 4th July, also as part of a Lunch table of 16. If I were to be hyper-critical there were couple of small culinary slips this time, but over all still great, good value and highly recommended !

Five Years On, not much had changed (thankfully) it's still a great traditional Pub. Our American friends who we took along for the first time, loved The Pub, The View, The Village, Nidderdale and Yorkshire ! Look forward to calling in again when next walking the Scar House/Angram Circuit.

The Weymouth Arms, Warminster

Visited again six months later with a group on Sunday 6th June and it was just as good as it was back in January.
Well done for keeping up the consistancy !!
Remains 'highly' recommended.
Looking forward to the next visit

The Weymouth Arms, Warminster

FANTASTIC ! The Weymouth Arms is under new ownership from December 2009. What a terrific find. Ten Out Of Ten in all respects. The lovely traditional Pub Bar with a log fire has been retained. Two local Beers were on Draught and in excellent condition. The welcome by charming Bar Staff was 'truly' warming on freezing Sunday Lunchtime in early January. Fifteen of us then sat down in the adjoining Restaurant (formerly another Bar I suspect) for a first rate Sunday Lunch. Good choices, beautifully served in a timely, efficient and friendly way by Staff who really wanted to make sure we were having a nice time !
Nothing was too much trouble for them.
Food Presentation and plating was original very attractive and almost to Michelin standards. At 14.95 net for three course, I don't think you'd find better value for money anywhere.
I wish this new business venture all the best for the future. They deserve it already if they can maintain this very high standard of hospitality.
I can't wait to go back !!!

Fully Eendorse The Comment From Anonymous 17/10/04. Great Traditional Pub Food And Big Portions. Really Friendly Place Just Like A Local Pub Should Be. Worth The Few Miles Drive Out From Pateley Bridge. Visited 22/12/04.
