Hare and Hounds, Billinge

Reopened Sept 2010 as freehouse by Nick du Toit ex Wigan Rugby forward.
Four handpulls of real ale, Thwaites Wainwright, One Prospect and two rotating guests all extremely well kept.
Wigan CAMRA Locale award, best new cask outlet and Autumn 2011 Pub of the Season.
Friendly locals pub. Music night every Thursday and Saturday and some Fridays.

10 Jan 2012 23:38

The Devonshire Cat, Sheffield

Brilliant pub, great atmosphere and beer quality top notch!

18 Apr 2011 09:09

The White Lion Hotel, Castlefield

Awful!
This used to be a great pub in a great location.
Now beer was awful, and 3.70 a pint of Timothy Taylors landlord in a plastic glass, a rip off even for a City Centre pub!

18 Apr 2011 09:06

The Globe, Standish

much improved, friendly pub!

30 Dec 2010 23:39

The Swan Inn, Ulverston

Welcoming pub with beer garden (well some grass and picnic tables) at back.
Good range of cask beers and those sampled were well kept

5 Sep 2010 09:58

The Stan Laurel Inn, Ulverston

Excellant pub with friendly staff, and half a dozen cask beers that were varied but mainly local, Ulverston and Tirril to name but two.
Ulverston beer went but Landlord changed it but not until he had cleaned the pump through.
A warning: close in the afternoon even on Saturdays, reopen at 6.00 p.m.
hadthe food there which was good value and pretty good

5 Sep 2010 09:55

The Globe Inn, Ulverston

Robinson's pub with large beer garden.
2 casks on Hartleys XB and Busy Bee of reasonable quality

5 Sep 2010 09:49

Kings Head, Ulverston

Friendly staff, quaint pub with beer garden leading up to bowling green.
Ale quality could be better Jennings pub with a guest as well as usual range

5 Sep 2010 09:47

Farmer's Arms, Ulverston

Nice pub overlloking Market square, tables outside in summer.
Manager/Landlord real friendly and cask ale well looked after with wide choice, went for Dent Aviator was very good!
Food selection looked good and seemed to be going down well with others

5 Sep 2010 09:45

The Grapes, Ulverston

Bloody awful, had the cast of "Shameless" in for the afternoon, beer undrinkable!

5 Sep 2010 09:40

The Masons Arms, Wigan

Wigan CAMRA's pub of the year for 2010 and richly deserved.!
5 hand pulled cask ales normally in superb condition, including LocAle from Geoprge Wright and/or Prospect.
The pub has been lovingly restored over the past two years to reverse the modernisation during the 1960s during the Greenall Whitley era.

Its small cosy atmosphere is enhanced by wooden beams, a large collection of rugby league artefacts, whilst outside there's a beer garden overlooking countryside. Altough hidden away, well worth the effort to visit!

23 Aug 2010 12:00

The Grapes, Stockport

Called on break from Stockport Beer festival. Most welcoming landlord and landlady and pubs looked to have been cleaned up greathly since similar visit last year.
Couple of Robinson's brews on including Unicorn and seasonal bitter, both in tip top condition.

8 Jun 2010 21:32

The Magnet, Stockport

Good range of real ales, some quite unusual, well kept and served by friendly staff.
Called within days of its reopening last November and looked a bit bare but on revisit has been made to feel much more homely.
Owned by family who were involved with the nearby and award winning Crown and seem to be reinvesting as the their success grows after much hard work.
Well worth a visit and I predict will be Stockport's number One pub in 12 months time!

8 Jun 2010 21:26

Swan and Railway, Wigan

At the moment the lease is up for grabs, due to the previous tenants being given notice (rumoured to be due to the number of guest beers not being to the brewery's liking).
Present "couple" work for a holding company, and the place has improved and is spotless.
Marston's beer in evidence but well kept at present.
Couldnt be handier for the Railway station, give it a visit on the way to the Wigan Beer festival March 4th to 6th!

21 Feb 2010 16:03

The Ramsden Arms, Blackpool

Close to Blackpool North railay station, lovely pub with friendly staff and 4 cask ales that were in good condition and included a couple of unusual ones.

By far the best pub I've found in many visits to Blackpool, equalled only maybe by The Shovels at the far south of town

21 Feb 2010 15:08

Fifteens of Swinley, Wigan

Now called 15@ Swinley, or Swinley 15.
Three Allgates and Tetley Bitter on hand pull, pub very "Red", but overwhelming smell of pee on entering very off putting!
Bring back the old "Gems"

31 Jan 2010 13:36

Boars Head Inn, Standish

Character pub with many nooks and crannies. Havent visited for years but had 4 or was it 5 cask beers on and those sampled were in good nick.

31 Jan 2010 13:25

The Shamrock, Standish

Friendly enough pub with a few cask beers on that appeared well kept.

31 Jan 2010 13:22

The Globe, Standish

Disappointing, only two casks on, Theakston Bitter of average quality. Used to be a much better pub, looked more like a youth club.

31 Jan 2010 13:20

Horseshoe Inn, Standish

Called in on a Standish and North Wigan crawl. What an improvement, 2 years ago was run down, since then refurbed completely. Clean and bright, staff friendly, and cheap food (range of meals @ 2.99)
4 cask beers on as I recall, all Marstons/Jennings range. Jennings Bitter and Cumberland both on good form. 2.35 a pint and had a promotion on, "Ask for Cask" with loylaty card, buy 4 pints of cask and get the 5th free until 1st March.
As CAMRA member applaud such an incentive to promote Cask.
Will be back!

31 Jan 2010 13:16

The Green Ayre, Lancaster

Poor, usual wetherspoons staff shortages, advertise real ale but only a couple available,ie Pegigree, Abbot, many coming soon, yeh so's christmas!
Even the bland food poor, obviously only interested in sellling lager to students. very disappointing

28 Sep 2008 20:27

The Sun Hotel and Bar, Lancaster

Classy venue, yeh little pricey (2.60 pint bitter) but friendly efficient staff. Part owner of Lancaster Brewery so their 4 cask beers in evidence, but 4 other casks also. Visited in the day and the evening, best bar in Lancaster along with the Borough.

28 Sep 2008 18:25

The Penny Bank, Lancaster

Fab location, unusual beer but not particularly well kept. Never a good sign when there are "lease for sale throughout the pub". Disappointing!

28 Sep 2008 18:21

The John O'Gaunt, Lancaster

Old pub with old musician pictures on the wall. Nice to see it is back on the up as it was closed in Feb 2008. All seems a bit dated and in need of a bit of tlc. 4 cask ales on, unimaginative but kept well.

28 Sep 2008 18:17

The Turks Head, St Helens

Love it! Freehouse with good selection of ales, traditional pub in residential area but walking distance from the town centre. Six well kept cask ales,Thwaites Wainwright superb, Everards Tiger, Deuchers IPA, Abbot, Hobgoblin, and from Standish Prospect Nutty Slack. Tap room, games room and comfortable lounge served from double sided bar
Shame beer garden not more attractive. Food including curry night Thursday.

21 Sep 2008 10:48

Beechams Bar and Brewery, St Helens

Gem of a find. Comfortable and bright, unusual beers (Tom Woods new one on me), good prices, comfy leather couches and large flat screen tv on the wall showing sports.

21 Sep 2008 10:42

The Bell & Barrel, St Helens

A dive, worst bar I have ever seen outside of mexico!
Yeh rock bands Fridays and some Saturdays, but empty soulless place, toilets a disgrace, ale undrinkable.

21 Sep 2008 10:39

The Stanhope Arms, Kensington

On a rare visit to London, this was a pleasing find.
Bar staff friendly enough, convenient location opposite Gloucester Road tube, food very reasonably priced, served quickly and tasted good.
Good range of beers including 4 hand pulls, London Pride, Spitfire, Greene King IPA )I think) and another. Nice lean to area outside front of pub, no doubt smokers den when busy.

9 Aug 2008 11:25

The Old Market Tavern, Altrincham

Hi Boddies_drinker.
Take your point, anyone can have a bad day, so called back again for a second look 1 month on. Olde worlde pub with a lot of character. Beer improved but still reasonable rather than exceptional. Agree its a valiant attempt to promote real Ale, and in yuppeeland that must be hard. However think they should concentrate on 3 or 4 real ales and do them well rather that 11 that are so variable. That being said on second visit Bank Top Port o' Call was nectar, Bank Top Volunteer good, 2 George Wright's ok to good, Theakstons best bitter just ok. All served in a combination of Guinness, Magners, John Smith Smooth glasses. I don't look for branded glasses, but the magners shape doesnt suit real ale! The scottish lady (landlady?) behind the bar was charming and the pub was a lot brighter than the last visit.

13 Jul 2008 11:35

The Crown Inn, Stockport

Second visit in a week, and astounded by the quality of the beer, & welcoming atmosphere.
Remember the lyrics "everywhere but nowhere baby", looks nothing from outside, especially when passing, but inside, cozy, atmospheric, and several small rooms where the ambience merge plus spacious outside area underneath Stockport 11 million brick railway viaduct.
Memorable beers, 13 of the 16 hand pumps on including Bridge of Allan Caber Tosser, Celtic Gold, Copper Dragon Golden Pippin, York brewery Peaches and cream, and oh my god!...Sarah Hughes Ruby Mild! Even the missus's lager was up to the mark!
Well worth a visit!!

13 Jul 2008 11:20

The Lass O'Gowrie, Manchester

I criticise this pub on 25th March, and have been back twice since and it is back on track as a superb boozer!
Good range of beers this time, Black Sheep, Deuchers IPA, and Brains Bitter all tried two pints of each and bob on! Star product though Bank Top Mild, fantastic. I don't drink mild normally but had to stay for 3 pints.
Food back on and delicious.
Fantastic to report the pub is back up there and the pubs comments about my march visit appreciated.
Well done "Lass" lads and lasses!

6 Jul 2008 08:26

The Old Market Tavern, Altrincham

Sorry not impressed, advertised 12 real ales, 11 were available, tried 5, Jennings Cockerhoop poor, London Pride Ok, Bank Top Volunteer fine, Marstons Burton Bitter ok but Everards Beacon wouldnt wash my underwear in! Grubby place!
Real ale served in Magners glass. Sorry Trafford CAMRA if this the best you can find I pity you!

29 Jun 2008 14:34

Swan and Railway, Wigan

Friendly pub between the two railway stations. Had Timothy taylor (poor) lancaster bomber (ok) and bombadier (mmm, fab) on todays visit.

13 Apr 2008 21:42

The Lass O'Gowrie, Manchester

What's happened to the Lass? is it going down hill. As a regular visitor have raved about this place for years but on last few visits, poor range of handpulls (2 max) and food not available (kitchen maintenance, hmm convenient excuse for no staff?)

25 Mar 2008 12:31

The Unicorn, Manchester

Unfortable feel to the place and copper dragon that was disgusting! didnt stay long!

25 Mar 2008 12:27

Bar Fringe, Manchester

Fantastic pub, so regular visitor, alwsys a good range of handpulls that vary and plenty of lagers and continental brews available

25 Mar 2008 12:25

Anvil, Wigan

By far the best pub in Wigan centre, adjacent to bus station. Comfortable pub with range of rooms ranging from large screens for sports to quiet area.
Beer excellent, good range of real ales ranging from Hydes cask bitter through a range of unusual brews including two from the closeby Allgates microbrewery. Winner of Wigan CAMRA awards Spring 2007 and pub of the year 2006/07, no wonder!

22 Mar 2008 11:26

The Globe, Standish

Warm welcoming pub, friendly atmosphere, clean and bright yet cozy.
Theakstons cask bitter and Old Speckled Hen, both kept well.

22 Mar 2008 11:10

The Dog and Partridge, Standish

Smallish pub with nice outside area, full of rugby players who block the bar. Tetley Cask Bitter and four unusual guest real ales. Tried them all and none anything like decent, would be better concentrating on a couple and keeping them properly rather than such a wide range.

22 Mar 2008 11:07

The Black Bull, Standish

Largeish open plan pub with several TV's for sport.
Large range of beers but no cask, Jennings Smooth Bitter

22 Mar 2008 11:03

The Buffet Bar, Stalybridge

Situated on railway station platform. Called in on a pub crawl around Stalybridge and never left for another pub. Good selection of handpulls, Timothy Taylor, Flowers IPA, Boddingtons!?! and some more unusuals like Allgates all well kept. Simple food fayre, couldnt resist the pie and peas, yummee, and atmosphere with railway and beer memorabilia all very interesting. Will be visiting again soon and promise to try more Stalybridge pubs!

20 Oct 2007 16:07

The Quilted Camel, Newcastle

Did not live up tp its reputation. Overrated

28 Aug 2007 07:53

Bob Trollops, Newcastle

Old pub close to bridges and Quayside, Ale nothing to write home about though

28 Aug 2007 07:50

The Duke of Wellington, Newcastle

An oasis in the middle of newcastle and the only real pub I have found in the city centre on several visits to the city. Six hand pulls on, all excellent, and whilst visiting two were changed over making 8 different but well kept ales all of which just had to be tried and al were enjoyed.

28 Aug 2007 07:45

Turks Head Hotel, Tynemouth

Homely pub with lots of character and friendly staff. Good range of real ales and food that was excellent value.

28 Aug 2007 07:41

The Hope, Salford

Largeish pub on a busy corner about 20 steps up from street level, convenient meeting place. Not as scary as others report but scruffy feel. Greene King IPA on handpull drinkable just.

21 Jul 2007 11:22

The Waterhouse, Manchester

Homely wetherspoons, much upmarket from Paramount, Moon under water and the other in Piccadilly gardens.
Regular visitor, better food than other spoons (I know same frozen food supplier it's juxt cooked better).
Limited range of hand pulled beers but normally pretty much up to scratch. Why the Waterhouse in the centre of Manchester when there's no water closeby, he was the guy who designed the Town Hall opposite of course. Bet you didn't know that!

25 Jun 2007 21:57

The Ape and Apple, Manchester

As a reqular visitor to this pub can vouch for it being an ace place. Superb pint of Holts, several varieties served and so reasonable prices for a quality and well kept selection of ales.

25 Jun 2007 21:50

The Bridge, Manchester

Regular stopping place on the way to or from Salford Central station. Nice atmosphere but prices a bit steep 2.65 Bitter, 2.85 Lager.
Theakstons and Directors on last time I called, neither above average

25 Jun 2007 21:45

The Briton's Protection Hotel, Castlefield

Super homely pub with small rooms and great atmosphere. Robinsons Unicorn, Jennings Cumberland amongst several hand pulls, and top quality.

13 May 2007 13:56

The Deansgate, Deansgate

My second visit since it has been refurbished.
Classy establishment serving 4 real ales, tried the Theakstons Best Bitter, IPA,& Directors, all very well kept. Mmm, will be a regular visitor in future!

13 May 2007 13:52

The White Bear, Masham

Nice bar on room on the right as you enter with Theakston's Best Bitter and XB, Deuchers IPA, Old Hooky (Norton),Black Bull.
Room on the left does food shown on blackboards, all very nice and comfortable but felt like straight from the freezer through combi-oven to plate a la Brake's frozen foods?

27 Jan 2007 23:07

The Bay Horse, Masham

Bit tacky, beer garden and nice log fire. Theakstons Best Bitter and Black Sheep on the bar, both reasonably well kept.

27 Jan 2007 22:53

Bruce Arms, Masham

Had theakie's best bitter, Black Sheep and John Smiths cask (yuk!) on the bar.
Cask Marque pub, Theakies was spot on, Black Sheep ok.
Nice locals bar, Good juke box, Dartboard etc, good atmosphere.

27 Jan 2007 22:46

The Black Bull in Paradise, Masham

Fantastic pint of Coopers Butt (seasonal brew). Black Bull Bitter also spot on, as was Old Peculiar and Best Bitter, you get the drift!
Only disapointments, pub closed at 3pm , and having booked for the 3pm brewery tour, got there 2.15 pm and was told last tour went at 2 pm. Admit it was January but it was friday afternoon and the website said 11.00 a.m. and 3.00 p.m. Might be better to check to avoid wasted journey!

27 Jan 2007 22:42

Calverts Court, Stockport

A quiet 'spoons for a saturday night, therefore got served quicker than you'd expect. Previous comments borne out by busier local pubs.Plenty of staff on.
Large but bright pub, pint of predigree went down well and food delivered quickly.
Overall you should know what to expect with the 'spoons food, what we had was good value and delivered quickly and couldn't fault it!

15 Jan 2007 07:59

The Unity Inn, Stockport

Very friendly local, on main road opposite Macdonalds. Excellent pint of Robinsons Unicorn.
Saturday evening Kareoke, hmmm, at least the beer was worth it!

14 Jan 2007 13:33

Stockport Arms, Stockport

Nice and bright, comfortable pub with good ambience, warm feeling.
Food until 2.30, belting pint of Black Sheep.

14 Jan 2007 13:27

The Arden Arms, Stockport

Not in the same league as the Marble arch, but never the less a good venue. Nice pint of Robinson Unicorn, Double Hop and another one.
Unusual "snug" that you have to access through the middle of the bar while staff are serving.
Few wierd people in when we called

14 Jan 2007 13:23

The Bakers Vaults, Stockport

Yuk!Looked like something out of the Addams Family, with the mad monk behind the bar.
Only Robinsons Unicorn available on the hand pulls, tasted like vinegar.

14 Jan 2007 13:11

The Marble Arch, Manchester

Fantastic. Good atmosphere, great range of ales, good food.
Could be described as heaven! Close!

28 Dec 2006 22:25

Gynn Hotel, Blackpool

Nice pub with Thwaites cask bitter on, loads of flat screens showing sky sports etc. separate kids area.
Good food, good position overlooking the sea.

28 Nov 2006 09:49

Queens Head, Redditch

"Character pub" opposite the nik. Shame nothing better than Tetley Smooth on the bar but had excellent juke box, including some memory jerkers like Led Zeppelin etc. and friendly locals.

30 Aug 2006 18:11

The Pinnacle, Redditch

Pinnacle, just another name for Baracuuda and is supposed to mean finest! Blah! Loads of tellys advertising offers like buy two glasses of wine get the rest of the bottle free. As the wine costs 4.50 glass and a bottle costs 9.00, I should think you do get it free as you've already bought the ruddy thing!
Only bitter Tetley smooth, yuk!
Big and brash, the sort of bar kiddies just love at weekend whilst being ripped off with their alcopops.

30 Aug 2006 18:07

The Rising Sun, Redditch

Can't people write in Redditch? Feel like a missionary down from Lancashire starting all these reviews!
Anyway this a nice bright Wetherspoons with windows on two side being on a conrner, with the usual cheap ale, and usual mongs in during the day.
Beer ok, several hand pulls, unusually toilets downstairs and even candles in the evening!Hmmm!

30 Aug 2006 18:01

The Litten Tree, Redditch

Now changed names and known as Huggies. Reasonable pint of Boddies, good music video's and nice atmosphere.

30 Aug 2006 17:57

The Golden Cross, Redditch

Next door to railway station, two nice casks on Pedigree and Banks.

30 Aug 2006 17:55

Yates's, Liverpool

Liked this place, sat outside on first floor balcony, good service and friendly staff. One of the best Yates I have been to for sure

23 Jul 2006 12:23

Richard John Blackler, Liverpool

Typical wetherspoons, not enough staff, when you ask for one of the few hand pulls that was shown as on, Pedigree, haven't got any. Pint of something else was ok but nowt special and not cheap for a "spoons"

23 Jul 2006 12:21

Crown, Liverpool

Good starter on Liverpool pub crawl. Old building with nice ceiling and full of "posties"
3 pints (2 lager 1 bitter) for 4! Advertised pint of Cains Bitter for a pound, but didn't have any, Tetley was reasonable instead.

23 Jul 2006 12:18

Thomas Rigby's, Liverpool

Busy pub, nice atmosphere, outside area at the back with good level of "talent". Reasonable pint of Okells bitter. Will visit again

23 Jul 2006 12:14

The Marlborough Arms, Chester

Narrow pub, next door to the Blossoms Hotel. End.

9 Jul 2006 17:09

Boathouse, Chester

Lovely setting with nice views and outside terrace but yep too commercial is accurate I guess.
Two hand pulls, Bombardier & Old Peculier, stopped doing food at 7pm saturday (strange).
Guess it sets it stall out for day trippers!

9 Jul 2006 16:46

Shropshire Arms, Chester

Love this pub, second best I found in Chester centre.
Good music, good pint of Bombardier, served until 12 (saturday) and the friendliest bar staff in town.
Live artist on the previous night was quite entertaining a bit folky, and the old space invaders game table under the window was there if you wanted to relive your teenage years.

9 Jul 2006 16:37

Watergates, Chester

In my opinion any pub/bar that serves John Smiths Smooth should have points deducted.
Any pub where the only bitter served is John Smiths Smooth shouldn't get a mark above 2/10.
However I will make an exception for this unusual, below ground Crypt. Atmospheric, friendly and efficient staff, candles etc, very unusual.
So it was a pint of Guinness instead and yearning for just 1, just 1, decent bitter!

9 Jul 2006 16:27

The Falcon, Chester

Samuel Smiths pub I believe recently refurbished as the building is an historic building. Ale cheap 1.32 pint Bitter, 2.14 their premium lager and well kept.
Pub smoky, quite a few regulars obviously chain smoking, nice lady behind the bar asked if we were non-smokers (which we are) and suggested we could go to the upstairs non smoking lounge, which we did and it was immaculate. Parts of the pub are that old you can still see the Wattle & Daub. Beer and History lesson all in one!

9 Jul 2006 16:16

The Cross Keys Inn, Chester

Sign outside pub says "nice pub for nice people".
Well it is a nice pub, and we are nice people, shame there were a few (gay)prats hanging around the pub, swearing and watching Dr Who!!!
Anyway went in twice, four handpull ales on, Deuchers IPA (good), Jennings, Speckled hen, and Black Sheep. The latter two pints were very warm though!

9 Jul 2006 16:10

The Bear and Billet, Chester

Best pub I found in 3 days in Chester. Superb!
Six good hand pulled bitters and loads of european beers, friendly staff, good atmosphere, clean and plain decor suits the old building. Definitely my first stop next time I am in Chester.

9 Jul 2006 16:02

The Sawyers Arms, Deansgate

Busy main corner pub with loads of tellys for watching footy. But the beer! only bitter available John Smiths Smooth (yuk chemicals!)

29 May 2006 21:44

test 16, Manchester

Decent traditional boozer, but disappointingly closes Sunday! Good variety of real ales, good atmosphere, can get a bit smoky though!

29 May 2006 21:33

Sir Thomas Gerard, Ashton In Makerfield

Don't understand the stranger comment! Ashton is a fairly friendly place! Good use for the former Kwik Save supermarket, well managed, just short of a few bar staff sometimes (Ever heard that a 'spoons pub before!)

29 May 2006 21:29

The White Lion Hotel, Castlefield

Opposite the museum of Science & Industry. Was a good pub 10 years ago when I visited and two recent visits resulted in many pints of Deuchers IPA being consumed, best pint I have ever drunk in Manchester. Nectar! Friendly & efficient staff too!

29 May 2006 17:42

The Crown, Manchester

Great late night pub, belting pint of Timothy Taylors!

29 May 2006 17:36

The Old Wellington Inn, Manchester

Shares same "beer garden" as sinclairs. Dearer but at least you can drink inside from glass rather than platic.Good pint of Timothy Taylors

29 May 2006 17:35

Lloyds No. 1, Manchester

Groovy place, but don't know why they bother with hand pulls, its awful stuff! Stick to the Lager!

29 May 2006 17:31

The English Lounge, Manchester

Real Ale, you are joking! Two on Bomadier and Deuchers IPA.
Both undrinkable, warm, flat. Got the impression nobody looks after the ale proper. Seating comfortable but more of a wine bar!

29 May 2006 17:29

O'Donoghues, Dublin

Heaven! Best pub in the world? What a place, where they pass the pints of Guinness over heads from the bar. Every time I go to Dublin, I head for this place, no place that I have found has a better atmosphere, and by extending at the back into the "courtyard" if it is getting too packed, you can watch the outside entertainment. Dublin is expensive,& O'Donoghues is no exception, but for the craic its worth it! I am sure there are many O'Donoghues & like in Ireland, but definitely the best pub in Dublin City Centre.

30 May 2004 10:09

The Union Rooms, Newcastle

Visited this pub in Feb 2004. I am generally a Wetherspoons fan but this place was worst ever!
They have done a good job on the building, but the staff couldn't give a damn.Despite Pub being fairly quiet food orders wouldn't be taken for 25 minutes because kitchen were "too busy", then another 15 minutes, then another gave up after an hour! Meanwhile a barrel went, nobody could change it, so had to move to another beer. Sorry thats not available etc. etc. The whole place was very disorganised.

30 May 2004 09:47

Lloyds No. 1, Harrogate

Enjoyable evening, Wetherspoons with music, cheap prices, value for money food, but with music as well. Despite being of mature age didn't feel out of place though as noted previously clientele tend to be 18-25.

30 May 2004 09:28

Barracuda, Manchester

Really enjoyed my night out here, yes best place on Oxford Street and area by far. I like the way the bar changed as the day & night went on. Great for sports then excellent music at night. Reasonable prices, service better than most, good atmosphere but not too packed.
