The Purefoy Arms, Preston Candover

Havent been here for a while, on my list of pub visits when I return to UK, a great public bar with some real characters in there, is Pete still there, great garden and the food was good the last time.

The Fox and Goose, Greywell

Great country pub, good beer, large garden. Interesting locals, lovely place to spend a summers day or a winters evening

The Bass House, Basingstoke

Strangely enough I have good memories of drinking in the Bass House, Friday lunch times it was full of 5th Formers from Harriet and those on the Link course at Tech. Do we really need another bloody supermarket or should we keep some pubs with a little character. I agree with the lottery winner to be, Id change it back to the Bass House

The Crown, Old Basing

Love this pub its my local, tv only when the rugbys on, good locals and great landlord. It is a pub not an eatery. No fruit machines which is a bonus, love sitting by the window and watching the world go by

The Bounty Inn, Basingstoke

Great pub, interesting locals and friendly, good bar staff, a pub thats kept a good character, and it is a pub unlike the various bars sprouting up around the top of town.

Laarsens, Basingstoke

Whats a mitchamite? I use to like this pub when it was the Feathers, why change a good name, but then again a pub isnt just a name, its a community. Still enjoy popping in for the odd pint

The Skewers, Basingstoke

Agree with Alexh, how an estate pub should be. Just love the public bar.
