The Edinburgh Cellars, Newington Green

I spent a day (ahem) here last week and had a wonderful time. I wish it was my local.

The back room may be be dingy but it's a lovely high-ceilinged space with a huge selection of comfy sofas, a servicable jukebox and pool tables. The bar staff were nice & smiley too.

I agree with the previous comment on the food.

The Three Greyhounds, Soho

Had an early Sunday lunch here recently. Lovely Aberdeen Angus burger, good chips and a very spicey Bloody Mary with whole green chillies which I strongly recommend.

I don't think I could handle this tiny place on a Friday night but it's lovely on a balmy Sunday.

The John Snow, Soho

It's a nice pub wiv nice barstaff and nice beer etc but the ladies loos were awful - no bog roll, loads of rubbish instead.

Got some stinking Dunhill International from Cote d'Ivoire off the little man outside, like sweepings they were. When will I ever learn?
