Rosies Bar, Newcastle

despite the efforts of the manager the bar has gone badly downhill. this is due to current and previous owners (who are really the same people with one or two exceptions)

The Pepys Bar at the Novotel Hotel, Tower Hill

Stayed at the hotel and really enjoyed our stay. no ales but tried a kasteel cru which was cheaper in the hotel than it was in some central bars.

The Ship, Tower Hill

what a great little pub with a very friendly landlady and despite other comments I think she was a very good model for the ties. cracking pint of sharps doom bar. just a shame its not open saturdays.will be back very soon.

first time visit and will return. good pint and very friendly staff.
