Pretty average GK offering - ale was about okay (Truman Scorcher). I suppose it's more a drinker's pub than another eatery though.

£5.20 for a peroni. Couldnt see any exciting real ales on draft but they have a large collection of bottle craft ales.

OK - The only think that stopped it being instantly forgettable was the house mouse that popped out from behind the fire place several times.

If it Pink, i would have called it a night.

This is a smart, stylish revamp of this pub in keeping with the local area and generally seems a committed enterprise.

The food was great as was the draught Wainwright, quite a discovery around these parts. Very good range of ales.

Really rather good.

Open again after being closed down for a short while by the local Council due to a mouse problem.

Sozz. Shouldn't have taken the rip out of the accent: GRUNTING was the word I really meant!
