A wetherspoons pub, so you know what you are getting. Good range of beers, but probably not kept well, and likely to be at the end of their sell but date, so they are cheap. As usual with the is chain, full of lots of sad looking men nursing a pint, from even as early as 9 in the morning.

On foot, on my way to the Jolly Colliers I decided to have a quick one in here. Two bar staff on and judging by the speed of service, I would have been here until the early hours of the next morning if I asked for more? Bass was on @ 1.95 and OK.

MisterX couldn't have put it any better. Popped in last nite for first time in a while and was very dissappointed to say the least.
2 X Pedigree
2 X Abbot
2 X Ruddles
1 X Cider
1 X Exmoor Beast
1 X Butcombe
1 X Three Castles (Prob the only vaguely interesting one)

Basically six handpumps wasted!,for a better JDW offering it has to be St Georges Hall or even The Knights Templar,

Not been in for a while but boy has this place gone downhill fast! Beer range being the biggest "Bore Fest" in any JDW pub I've visited of late - uninspired, dull, boring! C'mon Manager, you can do far better than this - of 12 ish pumps most were duplicated and beer that can be had anywhere. Dull, dull, dull!

Don't even get me started on the service (Arrrggghhh!) offered (or rather not!) by the staff in question on the night I visited. My friend and I both had to wait ages, firstly for one young lady being diligent in filling the cooler full of beer bottles and ignoring all the waiting punters at the bar and the 2nd occasion just someone so untrained as to know when a barrel was empty despite her 350th pull on the hand pump and *NO* beer coming out - Err give up love, it be empty I tell ye! {sigh}

Rubbish !!!

Typical Spoons,now with some staff previously noted in other local Mac outlets on the merry go round. Beer range of all the usual suspects,slightly enhanced by 2 from Otter,Head and Amber,the Amber being good. Not much else could be said really.
