Simon ,the last reviewer, has just about got it spot on. A pub run by customers for customers. The people who allege to manager this couldnít manage a game of ludo. Full of nutters, keep away, bad people.

Oh yes the blues jam session. No longer Iím afraid. Even newer management and back to the Neanderthal, knuckle dragging half wit brigade that used to drink there. ĎIf your looking for trouble, youíve come to the right placeí I think this song lyric was written about this place. Some boy was stabbed there the other day but the landlady said in the local press oh itís ok because heís alright. How bad has it got to get before itís not ok. With an attitude like that you havenít got much of a chance. Why breweries put managers in to run pubs who couldnít run an egg and spoon race let alone a pub. Except if the idea of running the pub is to sit at the bar all night getting more pissed than your most pissed customer. Absolute dump.

Good pub under new management. Every Tuesday an excellent blues jam session. No house instruments so you have to bring your own guitars but usually someone will lend you one. Excellent resteraunt and well kept beer. Check it out.
