Simon ,the last reviewer, has just about got it spot on. A pub run by customers for customers. The people who allege to manager this couldnt manage a game of ludo. Full of nutters, keep away, bad people.

Oh yes the blues jam session. No longer Im afraid. Even newer management and back to the Neanderthal, knuckle dragging half wit brigade that used to drink there. If your looking for trouble, youve come to the right place I think this song lyric was written about this place. Some boy was stabbed there the other day but the landlady said in the local press oh its ok because hes alright. How bad has it got to get before its not ok. With an attitude like that you havent got much of a chance. Why breweries put managers in to run pubs who couldnt run an egg and spoon race let alone a pub. Except if the idea of running the pub is to sit at the bar all night getting more pissed than your most pissed customer. Absolute dump.

Good pub under new management. Every Tuesday an excellent blues jam session. No house instruments so you have to bring your own guitars but usually someone will lend you one. Excellent resteraunt and well kept beer. Check it out.
