Surprised to be told it wasn't a migrant holding centre. Clientele mostly literate and able bodied , some offer sound advice regarding benefits. DVD/CDs reasonable quality and certain days various joints of meat on offer. Limited parking due to mobility scooters.

Love this place when me and my mates hit beeston. Always go in, most of the time because its too cold to walk any further.. only kiddin. Has friendly staff.. Good range of alcohol... 2 pool tables which you can play for free on wednesdays and sundays and a dart board. Dj night on fridays which is pritty cool, plays some quality tunes.

This has been my local for about 4 years now and although it went through a rough time with many changes of owners it has dramatically improved over the past few years. It was refurbished about 2 years ago and is always clean with great quality food and always a good quality beer. The pub would smell of food because it sells food for 10 hours a day!!! although the smell is not overpowering. I have never found it to be clicky and there is never any trouble. It has a regular drinkers base but now concentrates mainly on food. It does have a disco on a Friday but i have never found itto be over loud. Different people like different things i guess.

I personally find this pub a bit clicky, as they all stare at you when you walk in, smells of cheap cooking fat all the time, disco is too loud, and the clientelle are a bit rough...well at least i am honest.
