Not a bad pub to visit. Keeps a good pint of cask ale(Deuchars & Dark Moor(Kelburn) on this visit). The pub also has its Cask Marque certificate. xh558 - 14 May 2012 13:35 |
best pub in the area to watch live sports and great deals on food as well, pub has improved vastly over the last few years and is now a definite stop when i'm in the west end. andym76 - 28 Jan 2012 09:46 |
A big roomy pub with reasonable prices. There is an area outside for sitting and drinking, but this has become the preserve of smokers. The manager does nothing to address this. Toilets leave a lot to be desired. The manager also seems determined to turn it into a Celtic supportters pub, by showing Celtic TV continually. Overall there are better pubs in Byres Road and Partick. carndook - 19 Jul 2008 13:11 |
Not bad, nice atmosphere but soooo average. Has seats outside which is good for the west end. Is less expensive than Cottiers (2 mins away) but food, beer and atmosphere nowhere near as good. simon - 7 Sep 2004 16:03 |
