| Possibly the oldest pub in diss dating back hundreds of years. Great location with decking over looking the "mere". Service is always great and in the winter the log fire is perfect. I would suggest that the below comment about not serving children isn't about personal preference but is actually down to the pubs licence. | Had a very bland microwave lasagne with soggy garlic bread, not impressed, staff didn't even seem to notice that I left most of it or ask if anything was wrong, have since been told that it's not unusual as all food is microwave style! Will not be going back!! Dissbird - 17 Jan 2012 18:03 |

| found this pub on a night out with friends, now is a usual haunt when out in diss. love the laid back atmoshpere when wanting a quite drink especially on the decking also have a guilty pleaser of heading down on the kareoke night. great fun. staff are really friendly and very helpfull. also do great cocktails!!!! woo woo!!! blondiebee - 28 Oct 2011 22:30 |
