| New tenants just before Christmas. New landlady stabbed her partner 10-15 a.m. on 18/2/15 and was promptly 'taken into care' by the constabulary. Pub is closed/to let again. Is this what you meant by 'some interesting characters' abraceofnatchplease? If you are looking for a traditional boozer in Crediton, this is probably the best if you can catch it open. Following on from montie49's comment, if you want to avoid the locals smoking in the entrance, go down the passage to the right of the pub and you will find there is another way in down there. malingerer - 20 Feb 2015 13:51 |

| Bigger than it looks from the outside this was a better place than i had expected. Open all day from 1000 and also does a good pub like food menu. Also looks like it is a bit of a late night boozer with a small dancefloor Would give it a good 8/10 humphrey49 - 17 Apr 2011 11:02 |
